At LSS, It’s Always Time to Fundraise!
LSS is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization, and our mission is to provide an intimate setting for diverse cultural arts events. With that mission in mind, LSS rents the building in historic downtown Noblesville that has become known as Logan Street Sanctuary. We offer several ways for YOU to support LSS. For our Corporate Patrons and other nonprofits, LSS features your corporate logos in several ways, including but not limited to our monthly programs, website, Newsletter, emails, advertising, and Sponsor A Pew plaque display. We welcome your representatives to attend any of our events where we can publicly recognize your support. Another benefit of sponsorship is that LSS can offer space for small events, partnerships on video productions, and support for your events. LSS will send you a tax deductible receipt for your generous donation via email or regular mail (Square sends automatic receipts). After your Square Market donation, please email to firstname.lastname@example.org a good resolution .png or .jpg file of your logo and/or name as you wish it to appear.

We have 12 vintage padded pews as our main seating at LSS. We’ll place a custom-engraved plaque with your name or logo on the pew’s end. Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization, Logan Street Sanctuary, Inc., proudly publishes The Polk Street Review every year; it is a unique place-making Noblesville-focused anthology. We hope you will choose to advertise YOUR BUSINESS in the annual book. The Polk Street Review is the only annual anthology dedicated to publishing prose, poetry, song lyrics, and images that celebrate Noblesville. We welcome submissions from both professionals and high-quality amateurs and have helped further the careers of many creative artists. Every little bit helps! Whether through LSS’ Facebook page or that of our partner organization, Sacred Heart of the Rose (SHotR) we often use Facebook Fundraising to raise support funds for operating costs (we rent the cool little historic former church at 1274 Logan Street to hold all of our diverse events). Sacred Heart of the Rose often has a Facebook fundraiser going on to support great events like SHotR’s Tranquility Retreats and other special spiritual celebrations, like last year’s Lughnasa Celebration ~ your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. In 2017, we fundraised for some great counter-space additions in the kitchen and meeting space downstairs at LSS, because we wanted those spaces to be available and useful to YOU when you rent the space or come to an event! Help us Empower A Maker!
LSS has partnered with downtown Noblesville boutique Love’s Hangover Creations to support and sponsor makers all over the world!
Love’s Hangover Creations owner Emily Wasonga has been a longtime supporter of international maker communities, and she decided to crown her 10th year in business by opening up the channels for sponsorship of makers identified as candidates who would benefit from the support as well as empower others along the way. LSS is thrilled to help raise funds for selected makers. You can learn more about the Empower A Maker initiative and selected makers by clicking here, and you can make direct donations securely through our Square Market store by clicking here. Your donations go directly to purchase and mail the items that are needed by the selected maker recipients to create their products. Sometimes, these materials are as simple and basic as glue. Yes, glue! YOU can be the glue that hold together the literal life and business of our selected maker recipients!
One of our selected maker recipients is Ms. Imelda, a young card-maker and designer in Kenya. She is currently studying actuarial science at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). She is looking forward to graduating in June 2018. Card-making is how Imelda caters for her day to day expenses as a college student and young lady in East Africa.
Imelda is a self-taught card maker. She often couldn’t afford to purchase cards for her loved ones during special occasions and the problem led her to start creating her own. She taught herself calligraphy as well. Soon, people started ordering cards from her to send to their loved ones as well.
A lot of the decor on Imelda’s cards is from salvaged paper products that she stumbles upon, cuts up, and reuses. Imelda, like all entrepreneurs, hopes to continue growing her business. Some of Imelda’s 2018 goals include:
- Gaining international clientele (her cards will be available in Love’s Hangover Creations in a month)
- Offering artistic workshops, especially in children’s homes within East Africa, where she feels there is a lot of untapped talent due to limited resources.

The easiest (and most fun!) way to support LSS is to come to our events! Sign up here to get on our mailing list. At all events, we put out a glass bowl for LSS donations to “keep the lights on.” At our concert events, we ask for a $10 donation at “the door” that supports the performers and our organization. Any additional donations to support LSS to help us stay in our location, which we rent, is greatly appreciated!!!
You can also support us by purchasing our annual The Polk Street Review books, becoming an Individual or Corporate Supporting Sponsor, and/or by donating any amount at any time. We also offer artist gallery space (limited; first come first served) and we have one artists’ studio available for rent. LSS main area upstairs is available to rent for special occasions, meetings, recitals, rehearsals, and includes two bathrooms (one with a shower) and a full kitchen (byo-caterer!).
