With freezing temperatures and severe weather hitting Indiana this winter, power outages are sure to follow.

Depending on the service in your area, you can check the latest status of your power outage, how widespread the outage is, an estimated restoration time and more.

Most Indianapolis residents have AES Indiana or Duke Energy, but some regions in the state use other services; many of those are also listed below.

You can check the power outage map here. You can also report your outage here or reach them by phone about outages 24/7 at 317-261-8111.

AES reminds customers to stay away from fallen, broken or damaged power lines, and call the number above to report any near you.

Duke Energy power outage map

Duke Energy customers can find a map of power outages here. To report an electrical outage, click here or call 800-343-3525.

Duke's map also has the ability to show outage histories and a current summary of known issues and how many customers are impacted.

Centerpoint Energy (Vectren) power outage map

Customers with Centerpoint Energy can find their current power outages here.

To report your outage via text/SMS message, text the word "OUT" to 83212. Customers can provide their account info and report outages using other methods here.

Indiana Michigan Power outage map

Indiana Michigan Power is more common in the northern part of the state, and has an outage map here.

Customers can sign up for outage alerts, report outages and more by signing into their account here.

NIPSCO power outage map

Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO) customers should click here for the latest power outage info, to report issues or to get alerts.
