'I need a new business': Tony Kanaan repairs his grass damage at Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Tony Kanaan thought he was done driving at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. And he is, at least in a race car on the track.
But he logged a few hundred feet in a lawn mower Wednesday, as part of his new "venture," TK & Sons Landscaping.
This is a gag, of course. Kanaan made a daring pass in Sunday's Indianapolis 500, using the grass inside the back straightaway to get by Scott McLaughlin on the way to a 16th-place finish.
Kanaan joined IMS President Doug Boles at the scene to repair his damage.

"To be able to feed my children, I need a new business," he said before pointing to a mower, which his children were admiring. "I just invested all my retirement money in this machine."
Kanaan told Boles before jumping on the mower that IMS is immaculate, and that he wants it to stay that way.
"The bathrooms in this place are unbelievable," he said. "It's cleaner than my house."
Here's a look at Kanaan's grass pass.
Kanaan joked with IndyCar driver McLaughlin, who tweeted that he was closing on a house Wednesday.
