I expect this to be a very good game, as both teams are among the top of the Western Conference and have been scorching hot recently, so I don't like the moneyline odds for either team here, since either could come away with the win. Bet on the spread and/or total instead.

Against the spread

BET THUNDER +5.5 (-110).

OKC has covered in 4 of its last 5 matchups vs. L.A. and is 8-2 ATS in the last 10 meetings. The Thunder are also 3-1 ATS in their last 4 overall and are 26-13 ATS on the season, while L.A. is 20-19 ATS this season. OKC also has the No. 1 straight-up road record in the league at 11-7, so I like the Thunder to cover here.

L.A. will miss the interior presence of Zubac, which makes me like this play even more.

Over/Under

LEAN OVER 236.5 (-110).

The Over has hit in back-to-back Oklahoma City-L.A. matchups and is 3-1 in the last 4 meetings. The Over is also 3-1 in the Clippers' last 4 overall and 23-16 for the Thunder this season.

Both teams are solid defensively, but I expect offense to be the key to this game.

This is only a lean because the Under has been safer for OKC lately and has also been safer for the Clippers this season.
