Josiah Ball, Maconaquah: The 6-5 junior had 30 points in Maconaquah’s 88-68 win over Peru on 12-for-22 shooting. Ball also had eight assists, five rebounds and two steals. Ball is averaging 30.1 points per game this season for 8-3 Maconaquah.

Kobi Bowles, Lawrence North: The senior guard had an outstanding week for the Wildcats during a four-game run to the Marion County tournament championship as he averaged 15.0 points, 5.0 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 3.0 steals. Bowles has had one of the more impressive plays of the week with a down-the-lane dunk in a 78-53 championship win over Franklin Central.

Bryson Cardinal, Guerin Catholic: Cardinal scored the game-winning basket on an out-of-bounds play as Guerin Catholic handed Cathedral its first loss, 48-47. Cardinal finished with 14 points on 7-for-9 shooting with eight rebounds, two steals and one assist.

Deion Edwards, Springs Valley: Edwards broke the school’s single-game scoring record held by Larry Bird (remember him?) with 56 points in his team’s 101-98 overtime win over Austin. Bird’s record was 55 points. Edwards also had 14 points, four assists and three steals. Edwards had 13 points, eight rebounds, six assists in a 60-58 overtime win over West Washington.

Julian Gish, Pike Central: Gish had 25 points and the game-winning 3-pointer from the corner at the buzzer as Pike Central knocked off 3A top-ranked Heritage Hills 56-55. Gish finished with 25 points, three rebounds, two assists and two rebounds. He also had 13 points, three assists, three steals and two rebounds in a 56-42 win over Wood Memorial.

Mason Harvey, Seton Catholic: The senior had 24 points, 18 rebounds and seven blocked shots in Seton Catholic’s 67-57 win over Liberty Christian.

Evan Haywood, Brebeuf Jesuit: The senior Butler recruit had 25 points, five rebounds and two assists in the Braves’ 71-65 loss to Ben Davis in the first round of the Marion County tournament.

Damien King, Anderson: King had 21 points and 10 rebounds in Anderson’s 68-44 win over Lafayette Jeff and went for 20 points and 11 rebounds in a 58-45 loss to Hamilton Southeastern.

Chris Lampkins, New Albany: Lampkins had 28 points in a 72-51 win over Charlestown and went for 18 points in a 77-67 win over Scottsburg. New Albany has won seven of its past eight games.

Jordan Lomax, Brownsburg: The senior guard had 20 points, three rebounds, three steals and two assists in a 60-45 loss to Fishers and had 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 44-39 win over Castle.

Kai McGrew, Lawrence North: The 6-9 sophomore averaged 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.5 blocked shots per game to help the Wildcats to four victories in the Marion County tournament.

Brennan Miller, Lawrence North: The 6-7 sophomore had 22 points and 14 rebounds in a 78-53 win over Franklin Central in the championship of the Marion County tournament. Miller averaged 12.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in the Wildcats’ four games.

Jack Miller, Scottsburg: Miller had 22 points on 83% shooting in Scottsburg’s 82-31 win over Salem and had 28 points on 64% shooting from inside the 3-point arc and 40% from outside in a 77-67 loss to New Albany.

Braylon Mullins, Greenfield-Central: The junior standout went 26 points and eight rebounds in a 70-50 win over New Castle and came back with 44 points in a 64-31 win over Eastern Hancock to reach the 1,000-point milestone for his career and help the Cougars stay undefeated.

Philip Randolph, International: Randolph led International to a 71-68 win over Shortridge as he finished with 38 points, eight steals, six assists and four rebounds. He shot 5-for-8 from the 3-point line and 8-for-9 on 2-point field goals to rally his team from a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit. Randolph also surpassed 1,000 career points and is now the school leader in assists (205) and steals (201).

Azavier Robinson, Lawrence North: The junior guard averaged a team-leading 18.0 points during the Wildcats’ four victories in the Marion County tournament. Robinson also averaged 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.0 steals.

Caleb Wright, Sheridan: Wright scored a career-high 27 points on 10-for-15 shooting, including 5-for-7 from the 3-point line, with four rebounds, four assists and one steal in Sheridan’s 64-48 win over North Montgomery.
