Colts make several roster moves, waiving defensive back who was suspended late in season

The Indianapolis Colts made several roster moves Monday, and they waived cornerback Tony Brown, who was suspended for the final three games of the season.

Brown and wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie were suspended on Dec. 19 for conduct detrimental to the team, but the Colts didn't go into further detail.

Brown, 28, appeared in 12 games this season, making 10 tackles with one interception. He appeared in 16 Colts games in 2022, and previously played for Green Bay and Cincinnati.

McKenzie remains with the team.

The Colts extended the contracts of the following players by one year:

∎ Cornerback Darrell Baker Jr., who appeared in 14 games, with 35 tackles and 7 passes defended.

∎ Safety Trevor Denbow, who played mostly on special teams with 12 tackles.

∎ Linebacker Cameron McGrone, who played mostly on special teams.

∎ Linebacker Segun Olubi, primarily a special teamer who had 26 tackles and 1 fumble recovery.

The Colts signed the following players to reserve/futures contracts: LB Austin Ajiake, LB Liam Anderson, WR Tyrie Cleveland, S Marcel Dabo, WR Ethan Fernea, G Arlington Hambright, TE Jordan Murry, RB Zavier Scott and TE Eric Tomlinson.
